Venue Manager Vacancy

We are a boutique cocktail bar on a village style high street in N16, looking for a passionate, enthusiastic venue manager to join our team.

Our venue is a popular meeting place for locals to share a drink after work or join in our many activities during the week, such as life drawing. The venue also boasts a vibrant party destination on the weekends, with a basement club hosting exciting and cutting edge club nights, alongside our cocktail bar with DJs and dancing.

It is a very fast paced and challenging environment, within which the applicant must:

Be very customer focused and present high standards at all times
Show commitment and determination
Have the ability to drive their staff and business forward
Meeting the necessary customer standards
Manage and motivate staff
Staff training and recruitment
Monitor and control stock
Organise staffing rotas
Control and design the drinks menu
Organise staff wages
Cash up after shifts
The everyday running of the venue & being the most senior staff on shifts
Show good communication skills and the ability to work alongside the management team to develop ideas

Requirements for successful candidates will include:

Personal Licence holder (preferred)
2 years experience in a similar role
Vast cocktail knowledge is essential and strong organisational skills are required
Competent in Word & Excel
Have an enthusiastic & ambitious, 'can do' attitude
A love for the industry is a must!

The Baby Bathhouse can offer
Full time position of 42-45 hours per week
Negotiable annual wage (plus financial incentive)

The ideal candidate will have a strong late night background with excellent attention to detail and a strong customer focus.

There is the option for this to be a possible live-in position, for the right applicant.
